Payment and seller fees

Campaigns are priced in U.S. dollars. The advertiser pays the amount shown at checkout, including any separately disclosed tax. The seller pays a Loudspace platform fee of 5% of the campaign price plus actual Stripe processing costs. Stripe costs are additional to the 5%, may vary by transaction and payment method, and are deducted from seller proceeds once the processor reports them. An estimate shown before payment is not the final processing fee. The campaign payment record shows the finalized amounts used for settlement.

Seller proceeds cannot be released until all amounts are confirmed and available. If processing costs exceed otherwise available proceeds, the campaign requires review instead of creating an undisclosed charge. No off-platform payment, stored wallet balance, or cash settlement is supported for marketplace campaigns.

How a campaign is paid and released

1. The seller submits an offer and the advertiser accepts that exact version.
2. The advertiser completes Stripe checkout before the reservation expires. The payment record, not a browser success screen alone, determines whether payment succeeded.
3. Required creative approvals and human-participant consent are completed before performance.
4. The seller submits the agreed proof. Proof is reviewed and the advertiser confirms acceptance under the order’s conditions.
5. Loudspace releases eligible seller proceeds to the seller’s connected Stripe account. Stripe’s onboarding, availability, and bank payout schedules also apply.

“Held” and “scheduled” describe the platform’s transfer state. Loudspace is not an escrow service and does not promise a trust account, segregation, deposit insurance, or a guaranteed bank-arrival date. A dispute, refund, unsafe condition, withdrawn consent, or incomplete verification can pause release.

Cancellations and refunds

The accepted offer contains the cancellation schedule for that campaign. If a seller entirely fails to deliver the agreed placement, the advertiser can request a full refund of the affected campaign price and tax paid for it. For partial delivery, the parties may agree to a documented make-good or proportionate refund; unresolved cases are reviewed against the order and available evidence. Advertiser cancellation follows the agreed schedule, subject to rights that cannot be waived.

Late, unlawful, or unapproved creative can prevent performance without being seller non-performance. Consent or authority withdrawal stops affected work immediately; refund responsibility depends on the order, what was delivered, and the reason for the interruption. No participant can be compelled to continue a human placement while a consent or safety issue is unresolved.

Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method. Bank and payment-network timing varies. The refunded campaign portion reverses the proportional Loudspace platform fee and seller share, with cumulative calculations rounded in cents. Stripe may retain processing fees even when a payment is refunded; those costs remain the seller’s responsibility unless Stripe returns them or mandatory law requires another allocation. Recovery of already transferred funds is recorded separately. A settlement shortfall requires financial review; it does not authorize an extra charge to the advertiser or an undisclosed account debit. No undisclosed fee is deducted from a refund required by law.

Disputes, reversals, and taxes

Report a billing or fulfillment problem through contact support, including the order number. Preserve messages, approved creative, installation records, timestamps, and proof. Loudspace may withhold, reverse, or recover a transfer to address a refund, chargeback, fraud, or contractual obligation where permitted. A card dispute is decided by the relevant payment network or issuer; Loudspace cannot guarantee its outcome.

Sellers are responsible for their own income taxes and tax documentation. Any transaction tax actually collected is shown in the order or checkout. A zero tax amount is not a representation that a party owes no tax. Provide accurate tax and business information requested by Loudspace or Stripe.
